If you follow our socials, you will know for one week only we are opening the shop up for prom appointments! We have done prom appointments here & there over previous years, but this year we thought we’d mix it up a little bit for you & give you a proper event, so here’s a little bit about how it all works!
We are offering only 10 exclusive appointments, which are available at either 4pm or 6pm Monday 26th Feb- Friday 1st March. These appointments will be to shop from our Dessy range. The brand Dessy is most well-known for bridesmaid dresses, however, these gorgeous dresses are also frequently ordered for proms, cruises, black tie events, mother of the bride and….. all styles are available in ivory for brides who are looking for something simpler than a traditional gown. Essentially, if you need a dress for a special occasion, Dessy is a fab place to look. Whether you’re after a statement satin with an open back, or something a little more reserved with a sleeve in a gorgeous flowing chiffon… Dessy has it. But what I will say, is you are after a super blingy, glitzy ball gown, Dessy might not tick your box & that’s okay!
You might be wondering how this works & also why you were talking about prom in February! Let us talk you through the process…
Firstly, these dresses are only available to order & this can take 10-12 weeks, so by holding our prom event at the end of Feb your dress will be with us by May. This gives time for you to choose your shoes & then the length can be altered to suit!
We have approximately 60 styles available in the shop to try, all of which are available to order in more colours than you can imagine. SO, we start your appointment by having a look through the different styles & trying on as many as you wish. Once you’ve picked your style, you can then choose your colour! Once that’s all decided, we take your measurements & you’re all done!
When your dress arrives 10-12 weeks later, we will get into contact with you to let you know its here & arrange for you to collect it. We can also then arrange a fitting with our seamstress Belinda for any tweaks.
