It’s almost that time again where were off to Harrogate to buy our new season dresses, so we sadly need to say goodbye to some of our gorgeous gowns to clear some space on our bursting rails. Which only means one thing… SAMPLE SALE.
If you’re new to the world of wedding dresses, a sample sale is an opportunity to buy designer dresses with a HUGE discount by buying an off the peg sample. This means the dresses have been tried on in the boutique but never altered or worn outside so still in fab condition. Sample sales also allow you to get the quality of a designer dress for the same price or even less than what you’d find at a discount store AND you get the full bridal boutique experience too. If you’re on a tighter timeline too, an off the peg dress is well worth considering as you get to take the dress home with you the very same day!
We always have a selection of off the peg dresses available to buy at a discounted price, but this month we’re offering a further £100 off the sale price, meaning some dresses are as little as £350 & you still have two weeks to make the most of this fab offer!
There are around 40 sample dresses up for grabs this time across both our Morilee & Stella York collections. We have sizes 8-26 available ranging from £350-£1045.
Three benefits of buying a sample from a bridal boutique…
- You’re getting a designer dress for a fraction of the price, meaning you get the premium construction & quality but for much less money.
- Don’t assume that by buying second hand you are getting a good deal. It’s a common misconception that by buying online you are getting a good deal. But more often than not these prices are still higher than you’d pay for a sample from a bridal shop & aside from having likely been worn for a day. Second hand dresses, even if advertised a high street size have generally been altered to fit someone else’s body shape & height, which could result it costly alterations as well as any potential repairs from wear & tear.
- A new but cheaper dress from a less well-established designer will mean poorer fabrics & poorer construction which will ultimately mean a much poorer fit. Let’s face it as a bride we want to feel amazing on the BIG DAY!
